Designing and modelling of photovoltaic power plants using PV*SOL software

As part of the Civil Society Energy 2022 project, the team of NGO SDA Synergy developed a certified online course "Design and Modelling of Photovoltaic Power Plants Using PV*SOL Software", which was attended by more than 100 students in 2022.

We invite everyone to join the online course.

The aim of this course is to help you develop socially responsible and energy-efficient solutions for the design of energy infrastructure for the provision of heat and electricity. It will help you to get acquainted with global cases of using renewable energy sources for the creation of energy supply infrastructure.

During the course, you will learn about the applications and benefits of professional solar system design software and will be able to develop your own project in the PV*SOL Premium software. The main focus of the course is to develop the systems for self-consumption, and one of the significant advantages is an overview of the legislative and regulatory framework and financial models of the RES market.

In addition, the course will introduce you to the technical aspects of implementing PV projects. This will help you to formulate your own operational recommendations to ensure the maximum energy efficiency of solar energy projects. A detailed analysis of the potential of renewable energy sources in different regions of Ukraine will help you choose the best renewable energy technology for your location. In addition, you will acquire knowledge on the selection and operation of energy storage facilities for the electrification of off-grid facilities.

Our online course won first place in the Best Vocational Training and Retraining Project nomination in the competition held annually by the Ukrainian Association of Adult Education with the support of DVV International Ukraine.
